[001]~ FC4M Design ~ Military Helicopter: Size & Urban Environment

FC helicopter is NOT designed specially for urban environment!

~ FC helicopter is suitable for battlefields, surveillance and remote patrolling and mobile business
~ Safety reasons prohibit to helicopters to drop sensors in urban areas
~ Urban model should also be smaller to be able to fly to tight places and navigate among buildings

Design focus is bigger models for several reasons:
~ they are more stabile being able to withstand wind and wheather in demanding environment
~ larger fuel tanks allow them to fly longer routers and manage sensor networks in wider area
~ more transport capacity allow them to transmit more sensors to target are

[003] FC4M Design ~ Military Helicopter: Sensors

Freedom helicopter has it's own embedded sensors specially designed for it:

~ Heading sensor
~ Laser sensors
~ etc depending on the target area and requirements defined for it's sensoring capabilities.

These sensor are permanently in helicopter i.e. it does not drop them but uses for it's own purposes.
It might use some of it's sensor when approaching the base station or while leaving the base
and while refuelling or going into shelter at the base station.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
[004] FC4M Design ~ Military Helicopter: Transport capasity
Freedom helicopter's transport capasity is designed for Military:
~ it is capable to transport and drop on ground/to water/on ice sensors, for example five(5) sensors
~ depending on each sensor size, helicopter is able to transport a whole bunch of sensors
~ for longer missions helicopter can take extra fuel
Note, that the base station can be used for helicopter refuelling and to load new sensors to be dropped!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
[005] FC4M Design ~ Military Helicopter: Shape: designed to fit!

Freedom helicopter is designed to fit:

~ FC4M helicopter can be packed inside the smart pod to be rapidly deployable with a fighter
~ FB4M base station can take several FC4M helicopters into it's shelter due to small size of FC4M helicopter

~ FC4M fits to:
* Air Force: FC4M helicopter can be handled as standard bomb when it is inside FPod4M pod.
* Navy: FC4M helicopter can be handled as torpedos
* Army: FC4M helicopter can be transported and launched from vehicles like missiles!

[006] FC4M Design ~ Military Helicopter: Embeddable inside Bomb,Missile,Torpedo

Freedom helicopter can be embedded inside existing weapons such as a bomb,missile and torpedo:

~ helicopter can be packed inside bomb, missile or torpedo
~ the smart pod can embed helicopter i.e. there is no need to pack it inside a bomb or missile

Note that several helicopters may be embedded inside the base station being there in shelter and waiting for next mission!

[007] FC4M Design ~ Military Helicopter: Rapidly Deployable

Freedom helicopter is designed to be deployed rapidly to target area in several ways!

(1)From Fighter:
~ a fighter can rapidly deploy the FC helicopter to target area
~ FC helicopter is capable to hatch in the air
~ right after having been hatched itself FC helicopter can rapidly fly to target area and to drop sensors

(2)From Carrier
~ carrier can rapidly send a fighter with FC helicopter inside smart pod an fighter drops FC above target area
~ FB base loaded with two FC helicopters can be rapidly sent to accomplish a mission

(3)From Submarine
~ submarine can shoot FC helicopter like it shoots torpedos

(4)From Van/Truck
~ an army van or truck can transport several FCs
~ the same truck and van can also transmit FB base which as FC helicopters embedded
~ FC helicopters can be shot in the same way as missiles

(5)From Manned helicopter
~ manned helicopter can drop FC helicopter in the same way as figher
~ SOH and FB base containg FC helicopters can be dropped to target area

FC helicopter has been designed to fit and to be compatible and familiar for military!
FB base together with FS sensors and Freedom devices complement FC helicopter design.
A whole system of freedom devices can be deployed rapidly to target area,
where smart freedom devices autonomously and unmanned setup a networked system:
~ FB base starts rapidly to communicate with command and control center.
~ FC helicopters drops sensors which start immediatelly sensoring.
~ Sensors upload data to FC helicopters which delivers sensor data to FB base.
~ FB base processes sensor data and uploads filtered sensor data to command and control center.
~ Meanwhile FC helicopters collect new sensor data from sensor networks...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
[008] FC4M Design ~ Military Helicopter: Swarf
Several FC helicopters can be rapidly deployed to target area.
~ One FB base manages several helicopters offering shelter and refuelling.
~ Several FC helicopters can be dropped to the same area
~ One FB can also serve as a back-up base for helicopters
Helicopters do NOT swarf:
~ FC helicopter which drops the FS sensors is the only one which is allowed to communicate with those sensors
~ FB base allows only the FC helicopters it accepts to land
~ FC helicopter communicates only with the FB base with which it is allowed to communicate
~ FS sensor identifies FC helicopter which dropped it
~ Only FC helicopter which dropped FS sensor knows it location and can upload and download data and software
~ Although several FC helicopters may use the same FB base they do not know each others sensor network
~ In special circumstance a FB base may transfer it's rights to a back-up FB base
Security, reliability and invisibility are the reasons among other military requirements that
swarfing is not supported at the moment.
However, FC helicopters do recognize enemy and allies air vehicles
Therefore they do communicate in limited way also with other FC helicopters and FB bases.
FC helicopters have been designed to collaborate with own forces and with allies in networked environment.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
[009] FC4M Design ~ Military Helicopter: Mother helicopter

There is no mother or master helicopter designed to this architecture.
~ If that kind of master helicopter is shot down data communication with command and control center would be lost!

~ One FB base can serve several FC helicopters.
~ Each FC helicopter is an independent UAV communicating with FB base.

~ A back-up FB base can be dropped or installed by SOF for helicopters.
~ If one FC helicopter is shot down other FC helicopters will continue operating

~ If sensors are dropped to water, the Smart Bob is capable to handle communication to FB base is FC helicopter is shot down.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
[010] FC4M Design ~ Military Helicopter: Waits if required
Freedom helicopter has been designed to handle waiting
~ FC collaborates with Freedom Base.
~ FB base offers shelter and refuelling to several FC helicopters.
~ In case of sand storm or enemy threat FC helicopter uses FB base as shelter.
~ If FC helicopter has accomplished it's mission it can wait at FB base to be picked up.
~ FB base makes it possible for FC helicopter to rest and save fuel and power if there is nothing important to do.
catch: ~[content] ~[previous] ~[next]!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
[011] FC4M Design ~ Military Helicopter: Erasable

Freedom helicopter has been designed to erase itself, if required.

~ In case of threat FC helicopter is capable to erase itself.
~ No other UAV or device will know the location of sensors it has dropped.
~ No enemy UAV, nor SOF, nor any other unit is capable to replace that FC helicopter or take it's role with FB sensors and FB base.

~ It is possible to program FC helicopter so that it will erase itself in case of fuel is running out.

catch: ~[content] ~[previous] ~[next]!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
[012] FC4M Design ~ Military Helicopter: Automatic and unmanned refuelling
FC helicopter has been designed for automatic and unmanned refuelling at Freedom Base
~ FB base can be manned but it has been designed from the beginning to be unmanned.
~ A SOF unit, which might have been dropped together with FB base, may setup FB base.
~ However, even if FB base is setup manually, it will be able to operate as unmanned and autonomous base.
~ FC helicopter is able to refuel at FB base.
~ Refuelling station does not need to be FB base, a van,carrier and similar mobile platform will do.
~ However, FC helicopter typically downloads data it has collected from sensors at FB base.
~ Also, FC helicopter gets software updates both to itself and for sensors at FB base.
~ Although FC helicopter can be rapidly deploeyed to a remote target by a fighter,
~ target can also be as near as nearest carrier,van,submarine and similar military platform.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
[013] FC4M Design ~ Military Helicopter: Loitoring

Several FC helicopter can loiter around target area

~ One FB base is capable to offer shelter and refuelling to several FC helicopters.
~ In case there is nothing necessary to survey, FC helicopter can also rest at FB base.

~ Autonomous refuelling at FB base makes loitoring of FC helicopters possible.
~ A backup FB base might also be available for FC helicopters.

catch: ~[content] ~[previous] ~[next]!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
[014] FC4M Design ~ Military Helicopter: Relocating Sensors
Freedom helicopter does NOT pick sensors neither does it drop them to new places
~ It would be unwise to risk the FC helicopter to order it to pick old sensors and relocating them.
~ Better solution is to drop new sensons if needed.
~ The FB base has extra sensors and it can order more from command and control center.
~ SOF can also deliver new sensers to FB base for FC helicopter.
catch: ~[content] ~[previous] ~[next]!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
[015] FC4M Design ~ Military Helicopter: Delivering new sensors

Freedom helicopter can detect faulty sensors and deliver new ones.

~ FC manages sensors it has dropped and collects data from them as well as updates sensor software.
~ FB can order more sensors, if necessary.
~ Not only does FC refuel at FB station but it also reloads new sensors.
~ One alternative is that a service personnel delivers new sensors to FB base.

~ Need for new sensors may rise for several reasons such as some sensors break down,
~ enemy destroys sensors, sand storm covers sensors etc.

catch: ~[content] ~[previous] ~[next]!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
[016] FC4M Design ~ Military Helicopter: Operating hours
Freedom helicopter is capable to operate on area according to military specifications.
~ Circumtances and requirements may vary in target area.
~ It might be too hot, there is a risk that enemy sees FC helicopter, there are enemy air vehicles in area etc
~ FB base offers shelter to FC helicopters and station where to rest and refuel.
~ 24/7 serive is possible for FC helicopter provided that FB station can refuel helicopters.
catch: ~[content] ~[previous] ~[next]!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
[017] FC4M Design ~ Military Helicopter: Service

Freedom helicopter is designed to be repared and served using existing military service infrastructure and devices

~ FC helicopter being designed to fit can easily be packed inside bombs and torpedos.
~ Therefore it is easy to handle with famialiar military gear.
~ Not only is FC easy to take to service but it is maintain at FB base,carrier,ship,base.

~ Outsourcing of FC service is possible.

catch: ~[content] ~[previous] ~[next]!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
[018] FC4M Design ~ Military Helicopter: Sensors run out
Freedom helicopter is capable to handle the situation where droppable sensors run out.
~ When discovering that new sensors are needed FC sends a message to FB base.
~ FB orders new sensors either by calculating the need by itself or if FC sends a message ordering new sensors.
~ While refuelling at FB base FC may also reload new sensors for the next flight.
catch: ~[content] ~[previous] ~[next]!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
[019] FC4M Design ~ Military Helicopter: Refuelling

Freedom helicopter can refuel at Freedom Base
~ FB base managers it's fuel capacity and orders new fuel when necessary.
~ FC refuels itself autonomously at FB base.
~ If necessary extra backup base can be setup near target area to FC helicopters.

~ FC managers it's own fuel status and returns to FB base before fuel runs out.
