Hydrocell's fuel cells:
~ technology is based on cylindrical electrodes; cylindrical shape is durable and light
~ charge carrier is a specially developed gel electrolyte; gel does not leak out of fuel cell regardless of the position
~ electrolyte gel can store, deliver and transfer water formed in fuel cell reactions
~ fuel cells are normally equipped with internal metal hydride hydrogen storage
~ it stores 40 dm3 of hydrogen safely without excess pressure
~ fuel cell is also called a fuel cell battery, because the fuel cell is just as easy to use as a lead acid battery
~ fuel cell battery is not electrically charged; to use electricity it only needs fuel
~ fuel cell is completely silent and non-pollutive and fuel is already packed in safe low-pressure storages
~ HC-MH200 is ize of a small cola can and contains 430 Wh (12 VDC, 36 Ah)
~ HC-MH1200 is size of a small powder extinguisher and contains 2600 Wh(12 VDC, 220 Ah) of energy
~ when fuel cell and external metal hydride storage are combined,
~ energy densities are much better than with traditional battery technologies
~ standard unit consists of one fuel cell battery HC-100 and one metal hydride storage HC-MH200
~ modular cells are also delivered in several cell units, for example HC-400 is made of four fuel cells
~ output voltage of the HC-100 unit is 12 VDC
~ power pack unit has 12 VDC/230 VAC (300-1000 W) inverter as standard equipment and a small buffer lead acid battery

Hydrocell's hydrogen storages:
~ metal hydride technique is a very safe and easy way to store, transport and use hydrogen
~ hydrogen is not stored as a gas, but is stored directly into material grid structure
~ very high energy densities can be achieved by using metal hydrides
~ low pressure is another advantage, storage pressure is only 2-4 bars overpressure
~ , depending on the fullness and temperature of the storage unit
~ it is also possible to change the pressure level of metal hydride to meet the customer's needs
~ No self- discharge effect; it can be stored for years without fear to loose capacity
~ hydrogen is stored into metal hydride and therefore hydrogen from storage is very pure, even 99, 9999%
~ portable metal hydride hydrogen storages are very suitable for use with fuel cells
~ hydrogen storages have shut-off -quick connect coupling and a safety valve as standard equipment
~ easy to connect to a fuel cell or any other application with a quick connect coupling and a flexible hose
~ HC-MH200 is size of a small cola can, has a capacity of 200 liters of hydrogen, which equals 36 Ah (12 VDC), weight of HC-MH200 is only 2,5 kg
~ HC-MH1200 is 1200 liters of hydrogen, which corresponds to 220 Ah (12 VDC) and weights 11 kg
~ both hydrogen storages are equipped with an efficient brush heat exchanger

»LG Chem
~ completed development fuel cell which uses methanol fuel to power fuel cell
~ durability of LG Chem's fuel cell lasts for more than 4,000 hours, less than 1 liter in core and weighs less than 1 kilogram
~ produces 25-W of power
~ LG Chem plans to further develop various fuel cells which can generate power ranging from 5- to 50-W
~ unlike batteries, which require recharging, fuel cells can continuously produce electricity
~ under the condition that fuel is constantly supplied
~ a portable fuel cell can be largely classified into methanol fuel cell
~ and a hydrogen macromolecule fuel cell that requires a miniature reformer
~ LG Chem is pushing so-called Direct Methanol Fuel Cell (DMFC) technology
~ hydrogen macromolecule fuel requires a macro reformer or a hydrogen storage container to generate power
~ DMFC can contain higher levels of energy and uses less dangerous methanol to generate power
